The winning 6th class soccer team played the teachers this lunchtime! Well done teachers! Your active lifestyles paid off!
Well done Ballygunner 5th and 6th classes! We got a few mentions on the Irish Schools Orienteering website! The girls were outstanding over a 2.79km course, with Sophie Walsh and Clarissa Stotsky achieving the best time on the 5th class girls course, only 3 seconds ahead of Gwen Murray and Clodagh Hoctor. In the boys category Daniel Kiely and Conor Goff finished 3rd, while Patrick Fitzgerald and Kealan Furlong were very close behind. Great teamwork was shown by Sean Maura and Dylan Lawrence in the 6th class boys category coming in 3rd place just 1 minute behind the winners over a course of 2.1km. Great results! Results are now available on the Irish Orienteering Association website for all competitors. http://www.orienteering.ie/result2?oaction=fullSIResult&id=2402#1C
