Miss Slattery's class are taking part in a 6 week bike course run by Donal Jacob.
They are learning lots of bike skills and many safety factors of cycling.

Miss Slattery's class are taking part in a 6 week bike course run by Donal Jacob. They are learning lots of bike skills and many safety factors of cycling. Today, trials were held in the school for the athletics team. Boys and girls from 1st to 6th class were selected for the relay team, sprint and long race. The team will travel to the RSC Track on Tuesday April 21st to compete against all other schools in Waterford city. Watch this space! Well done to the members of staff who took part in our 6 week Operation Transformation fitness and weight loss sessions.
The program was a huge success and culminated with a circuit training session with Martin Kirwan of ' Focus on Fitness. ' Due to popular demand, Martin will be starting circuit training for staff members on Wednesday 15th April for 6 lessons. Twenty staff members have signed up already! . For Seachtain na Gaeilge this year, the sound of Irish music has been coming from the school hall and classrooms
as lasts weeks activities were based around a Irish dancing. While having fun, we were all doing our 1,2,3's and being active! Yesterday we had a visit from Liam O'Neill, the GAA President!!! He visited many of our classes and had some beautiful silverware to show! Well done boys and girls for showing him your hurling and football skills in the arena. Photos to follow shortly.
Here we are practicing our balancing on benches for our Gymnastics. We are getting better every week and really enjoy all the other movements we are learning through Gymnastics.
